The District 7120 Nominating Committee begins accepting nominations for District Governor at the beginning of the new Rotary year.  Are you an experienced Rotarian, with an interest in getting deeper into the operation of our district?  Do you have leadership skills, perhaps underutilized, and needing to be exercised?  Can you assemble and lead a team of like-minded, enthusiastic people?

If so, please consider applying.  Else, look around your club, your Rotary Area, and our Rotary District.  Who have you noticed fellow Rotarians with the skills needed to lead our district into the future of our Rotary Journey?  Who would you like to see leading District 7120, in a few years?

Reach out, and ask a few questions, some people, very qualified people, only need a little “push” to consider accepting the rewarding challenge of helping lead a Rotary District to discover and demonstrate its potential for “Service Above Self”.

  • A nominee for District Governor must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Served a full term as a club president and been a Rotarian for seven years;
  • Be physically fit and able to withstand three rigorous years plus a fourth year as Immediate Past District Governor (IPDG);
  • Be willing to devote the required time and be able to perform as hereinafter set forth;
  • NOT be a member of the sitting Nominating Committee;
  • Have the support of his/her club.
