Fall District Literacy Seminar
On Saturday October 9, 2010 the Rotary 7120 District Literacy Seminar will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of East Rochester. Address is 109 East Avenue, near corner of East and Main Streets, behind the Parkside Manor in East Rochester. Registration will begin at 8:45 AM and the seminar will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Please bring any left over dictionaries from prior years and a gently used book to donate ! Our guest speaker will be Ms. Patty Uttaro, Director of the Monroe County Library System, speaking on "Why Literacy Is Important and How Rotary Can Help"! You will also be the first to hear about the March 2011 Literacy Project and how you, as chairperson of the Literacy Committee for your club can be a leader in helping your Rotary Club achieve the District Literacy Award for 2010-11!
